EdTech BCOE is excited to announce Butte County Office of Education’s partnership with Google and #SeasonsOfCS! This collaboration will expand the pool of Computer Science teachers in the North State and directly lead to increased access to high-quality Computer Science education for Butte County students!

 

Seasons of CS offers a research-backed professional learning model for TK-12 educators that expands systematic capacity for equitable, scalable, and sustainable Computer Science Education in California. Over 700 teachers, paraprofessionals, counselors, and school leaders across California participated in professional learning opportunities hosted by Seasons of CS last year. We are thrilled to continue this learning journey!

 

This year, Butte County educators will have the opportunity to join a CS First Training Series, designed for 4th-8th grade educators interested in stepping into the world of Computer Science while receiving stipends for their time! Please see the attached flyer for specific details.
