Tracey Allen is the Senior Director of Professional Learning for Butte County Office of Education where she oversees the Butte Teacher Induction Program and the Educational Technology Department. Over the last 20+ years, Tracey has had the privilege of serving as an elementary school teacher, instructional coach, educational consultant, and an elementary school principal. She has presented at numerous local, state and national conferences on a variety of topics ranging from effective instructional practices to leadership seminars. She is passionate about learning, growing and supporting all educators throughout their careers and takes great pride in connecting with energetic and innovative educators around the country.  

 

Laurie York serves as an Educational Technology Coach at the Butte County Office of Education. Beginning her educational career in 2005 as an elementary public school teacher in Butte County, she has continued a path of continuous growth and expertise ever since. Laurie holds the distinction of being a Google for Education Certified Trainer and has contributed significantly to education in northern California as a co-founder and past President of North State CUE. In addition to these achievements, she is also recognized as a Seesaw Certified Educator and has previously served as a moderator for #CAEdChat. Her educational commitment is centered on fostering connections among #CARuralEd educators and administrators, utilizing innovative approaches to enhance teaching and learning in these unique environments.

 

Janet Brownell is a seasoned Educational Technology Coach with the Butte County Office of Education. Her educational journey includes extensive experience instructing both adults and fellow educators in the proficient use of technology. With two decades of dedication as a middle- and high-school educator specializing in science and engineering, Janet found the perfect environment to harness the transformative capabilities of technology in the realm of education. Janet holds the esteemed title of Google for Education Certified Trainer and has graced the stage as a presenter at prominent conferences, including CUE, California League of Schools, and numerous others. Her unwavering passion lies in forging connections among educators, enabling them to access superior teaching tools, streamline their workflows, and foster a sense of solidarity within their professional community.
